NFMLA Middle Eastern Film Program - Iranian Film AVO

On December 17th, NewFilmmakers Los Angeles (NFMLA) celebrates another month of astonishing independent cinema!

This month's InFocus program, our diversity initiative, spotlights the Middle East's influence on modern cinema, emphasizing yet another piece of underrepresented diversity that exists in Hollywood. We will be screening an astonishing short film set in Iran entitled "Avo" by young auteur Golnaz Jamsheed.
