PERSIAN RUGS: 2500 YEARS OF ART, CULTURE, AND CRAFTSMANSHIP

A lecture by Dr. Khosrow Sobhe, board member of the Textile Museum Associates of Southern California, Editor in Chief of Iranian Hand Woven, and author of numerous articles, discusses the history of Persian rugs and the return to traditions. Included will be a video of the craft of creating a rug. Carpets will be on display, and a weaver will give a weaving demonstration with an opportunity for attendees to try their hand at it.
