Dr. Markzar’s practice is devoted to
comprehensive Periodontics (gum
diseases) and Esthetic Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Markzar's achieved his Doctorate degree
in Dental Surgery & Oral Medicine (DDS)
with
honors, at USC School of Dentistry, followed
by 3 years of specialty training and residency
in Periodontics and Dental Implantology. He
is an active educator and has held a
teaching position as Clinical Assistant
Professor of Periodontology and
Implantology at USC, Dept. of Advanced
Periodontics, Division of Surgery.
Dr. Markzar has written many articles about
the relationships between periodontal
diseases and systemic involvements (such
as Diabetes & Cardiovascular diseases).
He
is an active member of American Academy
of
Periodontology (A.A.P), American Dental
Association, Academy of Osseointegration
California Dental Association, and Los
Angeles Dental Society. Dr Markzar is also
the specialty board member for Delta Dental
of California.
