Dance For Peace - Los Angeles

Dance For Peace , 2-4:30 PM Donald Bruce Kaufman, Brentwood Branch Library,
11820 San Vicente Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90049 .

Dance For Peace event will be dedicated to raising the awareness of peace, celebrating love, harmony, sharing, and culture on World Peace Day.

The International Day of Peace 'World Peace Day' is observed around the world each year on 21 September. Established in 1981 by unanimous United Nations resolution, Peace Day provides a globally shared date for all humanity to commit to Peace above all differences and to contribute to building a Culture of Peace.

Dance, which is the only common language and cultural entity all over the world, is the only anonymous art that humans possess.

The event will provide attendees with a background information about Peace Day, attainment of the sustainable human development goals and an opportunity to deepen understanding of the values of cultural harmony through a variety of performances in a diversity of genres performed by Azerbaijani, Bulgarian, Flamenco, Japanese and Mexican dancers. This event will be an example to show that dance knows no borders. We all need to give peace a chance; It is the only way forward.
