Shulamit Gallery is pleased to launch our new exhibition space in the Los
Angeles area with two shows during the Fall of 2012 and Winter of 2013.
These exhibits are official satellite shows of the Fowler Museum's "Light and
Shadows: The Story of Iranian Jews." This partnership aligns closely with the
mission and vision of Shulamit Gallery as an innovative art space committed
to engaging Angelenos through cross-cultural exhibitions and programming.
Devoted to building bridges between our regional and global community,
Shulamit Gallery focuses on the Middle East with a special interest in Iranian,
Israeli, and Jewish artists.

"My Heart Is In the East, and I Am At the Ends of the West" is the first of the
two inaugural exhibitions, which explore the contemporary Iranian Jewish
story. "Light and Shadows" is anticipated to be a wide-reaching exhibition
with program partnerships stretching across the city.
