Concert Ode to Hope: A Melodic Epiphany , Los Angeles Sep 20

Diverse melodies and rhythms seamlessly fuse into a perfect whole, illuminating the collective pulse
and its power to bring peace to all. Musicians from Iran and the United States together perform both
ancient and modern melodies and rhythms, setting us afloat on an inner journey of passion and peace.
World renowned percussionists Pejman Hadadi and Greg Ellis are the pulse of this journey, as
virtuosos Saeed Kamjoo on the Iranian kamânche, and Kourosh Taghavi on the Setâr improvise. These
musicians bring to us as gifts, their passionate and haunting music, painting the canvas of life
with beauty, harmony, and peace. Humanity is the essence of this unique performance that has its
roots in a diverse world culture. Part of this quartet (Hadadi, Ellis, Taghavi) brought us the
successful album “Epiphany” and now join another virtuoso taking us to a new plateau.
